How do make spot for your UV printer

How to make spot color in photoshop 

When you want to print white ink at the area where you want print,you need this spot white runction.you can design the area in a picture where you want to print white and varnish in photoshop first.then save as tiff format

1 add a picture into photoshop and chang it to CMYK mode

2 select an area where you want print spot white . magic wand tool or pen tool may usually be needed in this step.

3 contract the area you selected,sometimes it just need contract 1-2 picels.the press OK

4 make new spot channel . the name should be “spot_1””spot_2” spot_1 is white spot_2 is varnish . the solidity should be 100%

5 save as TIFF format.
