UV printing is a digital printing technology that uses UV curing to create prints that can be printed directly on materials such as wood, metal, leather, acrylic, and plastic, producing prints that yield high-quality, vibrant colors.
The UV DTF printer, on the other hand, combines UV printing technology with the Direct-to-film process. It not only prints directly onto the surface of the substrate but also prints onto UV DTF Film to create transfer stickers that can be flexibly applied. Not only can you use this "UV Sticker" to print on irregular surfaces, but you can also store the printed stickers to transfer your designs when needed, helping you to reduce inventory costs. That's the beauty of the UV DTF print transfer solution.

How UV DTF printer works
Steps of UV DTF Printing
1,Design Creation: You can create your personalized pattern, label or brand logo with the help of design software such as Photoshop, and adjust it to the right size according to your product needs.
2,Printing: After the design is completed and converted to print-ready format by rip software, print it onto your phone case, box or UV DTF Film A by UV DTF printer. During the printing process, the UV DTF ink will finish curing after being irradiated by UV LED light.
3,Transfer: If you are making UV transfer stickers, then after finishing the printing you still need to repress the UV DTF Film B. When transferring, firstly tear off Film A. Then just press it with your finger and the UV DTF ink will be cured by the UV LED light. Then just press it with your finger, no need to press it hot, you can tear off film B to finish the transfer. If you are printing directly onto the product, this step is not required.
Working principle of UV DTF printer
Positioning principle: UV DTF flatbed printer can precisely control the device to print patterns on different materials, volumes, heights, and shapes. Through the visual positioning system, in the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis to determine the height of the printed object and the printing area, control the servo motor and the print head lift, UV DTF printer can be accurately positioned to print a variety of patterns.
Printing principle: UV flatbed printer using piezoelectric inkjet printing technology, not in direct contact with the surface of the material, relying on the voltage inside the nozzle, the ink jet in the nozzle hole to the surface of the substrate to achieve the purpose of printing pictures. The printhead plays a key role, generally, a small printhead will have thousands of holes and can be fine control of the amount of ink.
Curing principle: UV ink in the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation will be instantly dry. ultraviolet light emitted by the UV lamp can activate the photosensitive components of the UV ink so that it dries quickly and forms a layer of hard coating. This coating has high adhesion and scratch resistance. It is completely different from the previous printing equipment that required baking and drying processes, which can improve productivity while reducing unnecessary equipment and personnel expenses. Since UV ink itself can react with ultraviolet rays in the sunlight to cause solidification, it needs to be stored and transported in black bottles to avoid sunlight.
UV DTF printing is also an efficient process. The printing process itself is relatively quick and easy, and the UV light curing step is also relatively quick. This means that the turnaround time for UV DTF printing is typically much faster than other printing methods, which is especially beneficial for businesses that need to produce large quantities of printed materials quickly.
In short, UV DTF printing is a cutting-edge technology that utilizes UV-curable inks to print directly onto films. It offers a wide range of benefits including high resolution and accuracy, durability, efficiency, and versatility. The UV DTF printing process produces high-quality, vibrant prints that are resistant to fading and washing, making it ideal for a wide range of industries and applications.
