At present, domestic UV machines mainly use high-pressure mercury lamps as UV light sources. High-pressure mercury lamps are relatively cheap and have high peaks in the range of 343 ~ 380nm, so they have a wide range of applications. There are many domestic manufacturers of high-pressure mercury lamps, and the manufacturing processes are very different. The main difference is that the lamp tube materials used have a life span of 600-1000 hours. The UV machine produced by our company (Xintianrun) uses German Osram. The high-pressure mercury lamp of the tube is guaranteed to work for more than 800 hours. After the service life of the UV lamp is reached, it is recommended to replace it immediately, because the UV light intensity at this time will weaken and affect the curing effect. In addition, the number of lamps and power contained in a UV machine are not as many as possible, and should be selected according to the actual needs of their own production, otherwise the power of the UV lamp is too large or too small will affect the product curing effect.

The reflector of the UV lamp tube must be made of aluminum, not iron or stainless steel, because the stainless steel plate will turn black at high temperature. After dark, it will not only reflect light but also absorb light. The best reflection effect is the mirror alumina plate, whose reflectivity can reach more than 80%, which greatly improves the utilization rate of ultraviolet rays. The shape of the reflector is generally a semi-circular arc shape to ensure that the UV light is gathered together. Attention should also be paid to the installation position of the UV lamp to ensure that it is in focus.
