Printer maintenance: small nitty gritty keep, big protection for your printers

DailyTask:

1. Do a cleaning, check the nozzles before working and turning off.

2. Clean up wiper and rubber parts and capping surface, and head surface(as previous I gave you the experience from a Thailand customer, every hour wipe the head surface and all the cover with ink by accident, his white head can use for 4~6 months)

WeeklyTask

1. Clean encoder strip

2. Clean the surface of UV lamp(especially the part last time you showed me very dirty)

Monthly Task

1. Add lubricating oil on XYZ slide rail

Seasonly Task

1. Replace the capping( you also can change it depends on real situation, for example, if one month the production is very busy, 16~20 hours a day, you can conside replace it after a month)

2. Replace the wiper

3. Replace the damper

4. Clean the UV light

Year Task

1. Clean the boards, use a non-dust hairbrush clean the dust

If don't use machine for a week, 

1. apply moisture liquid to the head surface

2. spray anti-rust oil to rails and wheel(X/Y/Z)

if don't use machine for a month

1. clean up the ink pipe

2. remove printhead, apply moisture liquid and keep it in a dark place
